The Mexican artist Gin Ro presents his first individual exhibition in the Canary Islands, Oro Rojo, result of his stay in residence at the La Regenta Art Centre, within the international  programme of resident artists ‘Programa Internacional de Residencias Artísticas 2022’. Through some twenty photographs in different formats made with an alternative & sustainable development process, in which he uses the natural dye extracted from the cochineal, the result of his research on the current production of cochineal grain on the Canary Islands is displayed.
