 to get acquainted with unknown films, pertinent to the so-called ‘Rei
 no ermitaño de Corea’ (Recluse Kingdom of Korea).\n\n\nOasis\n
 \n\nSynopsis: \n\n\nJong-Du is released from prison after serving thre
 e years for a hit-and-run car accident. A social misfit and slightly mental
 ly retarded, his family regards him as a burden. He decides to visit the vi
 ctim’s family and there he meets Han Gong-ju, the victim’s youn
 g daughter, who is wheel-bound with cerebral palsy and semi-abandoned by he
 r family. These two outcasts form a special relationship, finding their own
  ‘oasis’ in which two “normal” people live. But bot
 h their respective families as well as society itself present all sorts of 
 obstacles. The film received a special award for best director and the best
  actress prize for Moon So-ri at the Venice Film Festival 2002.\n\n\nLimite
