 n film “La hija del Mestre” (1928) by Francisco González
  González, based on the traditional Canarian Zarzuela of the same na
 me as the musician Santiago Tejera Ossavarry, was linked to the socio-cultu
 ral life of Gran Canaria for several years until she was permanently seclud
 ed in the postwar period. Through unique archival materials, the documentar
 y is also about painters, writers and editors of a magazine that dynamited
