Under the title Mierda de artistas, a project commissioned by the artists Raquel Ponce & Gregorio Viera is presented, that “offers an exhibition-installation result, from a performative process made from garbage by the creators”. The commissioners argue that it is not about “Recycled or trash art. It is not art from/with/about rubbish to use, nor the artistic transformation of it. Neither does it deal with procedural remains, nor of leftovers or residues of artistic pieces, but that which at some point was likely to have become a work of art, proto-type pieces which at the last moment ended up being rejected, or at some point in time was part of an artist’s display activity, but no longer”.
